This application was approved by Council at Public Hearing on May 18th, 2021.
We would like your feedback on a rezoning application at 8257 Oak St and 1025-1035 W 67th Ave. The proposal is to allow for the development of an eight-storey mixed-use building. The zoning would change from C-1 (Commercial) and RS-1 (Residential) to CD-1 (Comprehensive Development) District. This proposal includes:
Commercial retail space on the ground floor
Office space on the second floor
62 strata-titled units on the floors three to eight
A floor space ratio (FSR) of 3.5
A floor area of 5,917.5 sq. m (63,696 sq. ft.)
A building height of 31.7 m (104 ft.)
69 vehicle parking spaces and 124 bicycle parking spaces
An in-person community open house was held on February 11, 2020 from 5:00-7:30 pm at the Marpole Neighbourhood House (8585 Hudson St). Consultation for this application predated the City's virtual engagement strategy that was implemented due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
