A revised application was submitted in April 2022.

We would like your feedback on a rezoning application at 618 W 32nd Ave. The proposal is to allow for the development of a 6-storey residential building. The zoning would change from RS-1 (Residential) to CD-1 (Comprehensive Development) District. The proposal includes:

  • 34 secured market rental units
  • Floor space ratio (FSR) of 2.46
  • A building height of 21.38 m (70.14 ft.)
  • 29 vehicle parking spaces and 64 bicycle parking spaces

The site is currently approved for a 6-storey building with 15 strata units. The original rezoning application and council report was approved by Council at Public Hearing on October 17, 2017. A new application is being made to change the tenure from strata to market rental units. There is no change in the density, height, or form of development from the prior approved application. This new application will be subject to all current policies, guidelines, bulletins, and development permit requirements.

The application is being considered under the Cambie Corridor Plan.

An in-person community open house was held for the original application on May 31, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Phoenix Gymnastics, 4588 Clancy Loranger Way.
