The City of Vancouver has received a revised application to rezone 506 West 60th Avenue  and 7645-7675 Cambie Street from RT-1 (Two-family Dwelling) District to CD-1 (Comprehensive Development) District for a 100% secured market rental development under the Cambie Corridor Plan. The proposal includes one six-storey residential building and one six –storey mixed use building all over one level of underground parking. The revised proposal consists of:

    • church assembly, meeting and office space (3,500 sq. ft.);
    • 129 secured market rental dwelling units;
    • a floor space ratio (FSR) of 2.7 (85,390 sq. ft.);
    • a maximum building height of 22.1 m (72.5 ft.);
    • 90 underground vehicle parking spaces (including 62 residential, 1 car share, 10 visitor and 17 assembly spots);
    • 1 class B loading space; and
    • 161 “Class A” and 12 “Class B” bicycle spaces.

Changes from the previous application include:

    • a decrease in the number of residential units from 138 to 129; and
    • a decrease in the floor space ratio (FSR) from 2.88 to 2.70.

This rezoning application is being considered under the Cambie Corridor Plan and the Secured Market Rental Housing Policy (Rental 100).

This application has been approved by Council at Public Hearing on July 8, 2014.  The conditions having been met, Council enacted By-law No. 11278, CD-1 (611), on June 23, 2015.
