The City of Vancouver has received a revised application to rezone 4949-5109 Cambie Street from RS-1 (One-Family Dwelling) District to CD-1 (Comprehensive Development) District. The proposal is for three 6-storey residential buildings with heights from 23.3 m (76.5 ft.) to 24.2 m (79.5 ft.). The proposal is for a total of 202 market residential units, consisting of (114) 1-bedrooms, (70) 2-bedrooms, and (18) 3-bedrooms.

Changes from the previous application include:

    • increase in maximum building height from 20.72 m (68 ft.) to 24.2 m (79.5 ft.)
    • increase in number of units from 161 to 202
    • increase in floor space ratio (FSR) from 2.43 to 2.60
    • removal of townhomes

A community open house was held from 5:00-8:00pm on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at the Holy Name of Jesus Parish Church at 4925 Cambie Street with the applicant team and City staff available to answer questions.

This application has been approved by Council at Public Hearing on June 3, 2014. The conditions having been met, Council enacted By-law No. 11228, CD-1 (606), on May 26, 2015.

Formwerks Architectural has applied to the City of Vancouver to rezone 4949-5109 Cambie Street from RS-1 (One-Family Dwelling) District to CD-1 (Comprehensive Development) District. The proposal is for a 6-storey residential building with a height of 20.72 m to 19.2 m. The development is proposed for a total of 161 market residential units, consisting of (24) 2-storey townhomes, (54) 1-bedrooms, (42) 2-bedrooms, and (41) 3-bedrooms.
