Rezoning Application - 4533-4591 Cambie Street and 510 West 29th Avenue

Intergulf Development Group has applied to the City of Vancouver to rezone 4533-4591 Cambie Street and 510 West 29th Avenue from RS-1 (One-Family Dwelling) District to CD-1 (Comprehensive Development) District. The proposal is for three 6-storey residential buildings containing 167 units and 8 townhouses, with 20 per cent of the total number of units (35 units) being provided as market rental housing. The proposal includes a floor space ratio (FSR) of 2.5 and 195 underground parking spaces.

Changes from the previous submission (dated May 15, 2012) include:

  • a reduced floor space ratio (FSR) from 2.62 to 2.5
  • a reduction of 177 units to 167 units
  • a reduction of market rental housing from 37 units to 35 units
  • increases in the separation between buildings on site
This application has been approved by Council at Public Hearing on March 14, 2013 and By-law No. 10818 was enacted at a Regular Council Meeting on October 22, 2013.
