NSDA Architects, on behalf of Metro Vancouver Housing Corp., has applied to the City of Vancouver to amend the existing CD-1 (Comprehensive Development) District By-law for 706-774 West 13th Avenue, 755 West 14th Avenue (Heather Place). The proposed amendment would change the CD-1 (147) By-law to include:

    • 230 mixed income rental units in 3 buildings:
      • on W 14th Avenue: one 5-storey building (15.5 m), and
      • on W 13th Avenue: one 7-storey (21.5 m) building, including a rooftop amenity space, and one 10-storey (28.7 m) building;
    • a total floor area of 19,712.9 m² (212,194 sq. ft.), including a 521.6 m² (5,614 sq. ft.) common amenity space;
    • a floor space ratio (FSR) of 2.29; and
    • underground parking for 115 vehicles, including 9 car-share stalls.

This application has been approved by Council at a Regular Council Meeting on April 29, 2014. The conditions having been met, Council enacted By-laws No. 11739, CD-1 (656), and No. 11740, CD-1 (655), on February 7, 2017.
