REVISED Rezoning Application - 320 Granville Street

VIA Architecture has applied to the City of Vancouver to rezone 320 Granville Street from DD (Downtown) District to CD-1 (Comprehensive Development) District. A revised proposal has been submitted for a 32-storey office building, with retail and a bicycle mobility centre at grade. The development would be comprised of approximately 34,900 m² (376,000 sq. ft.) of floor area, with a floor space ratio (FSR) of 24.1, and a height of 111.9 m (367 ft.).

Changes from the original submission (dated May 2012) include:

  • Reduction of 4,000 sq. ft. of floor area (from 380,000 sq. ft. to 376,000 sq. ft.)
  • Increased setbacks on Cordova Street, ranging from 1.2 m to 4.1 m
  • Changes to the design of the building (see the Response to the UDP comments below)

This application has been approved by Council at Public Hearing on July 15, 2014.
