Rezoning Application - 1101 West Waterfront Road
The City of Vancouver has received an application to amend the text of CD-1 (363) (Comprehensive Development) District to increase the maximum floor area in Sub-area 3 for Retail and Service use (restaurant) from 600 m2 (6,458 sq ft) to 975 m2 (10,495 sq ft). This will allow for consideration of a revised design, for the restaurant proposed for this site, that includes an enclosed rooftop patio.
At the April 11, 2017 Regular Council meeting, Council referred this application to the May 16, 2017 Public Hearing.
At the Public Hearing on May 16, 2017, Council received staff and applicant presentations regarding the rezoning application, concluded hearing from speakers, closed the receipt of public comments, and referred discussion and decision to the Regular Council meeting on June 13, 2017, as unfinished business. The conditions having been met, Council enacted By-law No. 11892 on September 19, 2017.
